The Viking V1 Metal Detector is a modern version of the original Viking introduced in 1976. Designed for simplicity and ease of use, the V1 is especially well-suited for children and beginners. Its compact design and straightforward tuning controls make it an excellent choice for those just starting their treasure hunting journey.
Despite its simplicity, the V1 performs exceptionally well on highly contaminated ground where more advanced detectors may struggle. It features a non-motion detection system, built-in loudspeaker, and a waterproof DD search coil, delivering performance and reliability in various conditions.
