Metal detecting and camping are part of our family life. I love sharing this passion with my two sons, aged 7 and 3 — they both enjoy the thrill of discovery and the adventure of the outdoors.
About Us
About UK History Finders (UKHF)
UK History Finders (UKHF) was founded in 2017 by passionate detectorist Tom . What started with small organised dig events has grown into a thriving detecting community, with access to thousands of acres across the UK through strong links within the farming world.
Club Events
UKHF now organises twice-weekly digs on Wednesdays and Sundays, with access to over 50,000 acres of land and a membership of more than 10,000 active detectorists.
Shop & Product Development
In 2018, we began offering metal detecting accessories and equipment requested by UKHF members. As demand grew, I started designing and manufacturing unique products using advanced FDM 3D printing technology.
Today, this is a core part of our business. We operate over 50 industrial-grade FDM printers, producing exclusive, high-quality detecting accessories at scale.
In 2019, I teamed up with Cliff, another keen detectorist and expert in 3D design. Together, we’ve developed dozens of unique products now available in our shop, with over 250 of our own designs currently in stock and more being added regularly.
