The palm features a tough yet supple surface with extra padding for protection and support during prolonged digging. A patterned rubber grip ensures excellent hold even in wet or muddy conditions. The back of the glove is made of breathable synthetic fabric with rubber armor over the knuckles and fingers to reduce impact injuries while exploring hard or stony ground.
